Privacy Policy

PictureFramer for iPhone

The short version: PictureFramer collects no data. Straightening happens entirely on your iPhone — no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. One optional feature, AI reflection removal, sends the image region you mark to the AI provider you configure, only when you tap Remove. Nothing is ever sent to us.

What the app does with your photos

PictureFramer processes photos on your device:

API keys

Your OpenAI or Google API key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and is transmitted only to that provider's official API endpoint to authenticate your requests. It is never sent anywhere else, never logged, and never stored outside the Keychain.

Data collection

None. PictureFramer itself does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage data. The app contains no analytics frameworks, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party code. The only network requests it can make are the reflection-removal calls described above, initiated by you, to the provider you chose.

App Store privacy label

PictureFramer's App Store listing declares that the developer collects no data. Image data used by the optional AI feature travels directly from your device to the provider you configured — never to us.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be noted in the App Store release notes.
